Introduction

On September 2, 2008 Google released the Beta version of its new web browser called "Chrome". This web browser is currently in Version 3.0.195.38 as of December 17, 2009.

Why Did Google Introduce a New Web Browser?

Even though several modern standards-compliant web browsers are readily available, Google felt they could do better. Google explains its new browser in detail via a cool online comic book that they accidently released a day earlier than intended and thus "let the cat out of the bag." The online Google Chrome (Beta) comic can be viewed HERE.

Conclusion

As you can see after viewng this comic, Google has a potentially great product on their hands. I can tell you personally, it is my new favorite web browser.
